1) MS Outlook requires backend hardware and support that you must maintain yourself. Exigo Office maintains all software and hardware for you.
2) Unlike MS Outlook, Exigo offers email, scheduling, file sharing, contact manager, calendars, and other features, that are accessible from any web browser. Very little. Since Exigo is a web-based system, all your company requires is a computer with Internet access, and a web browser. There is no special software to download or hardware to install in order to use or view the Exigo system: it's as simple to use as any web page. In addition, Exigo manages all its hardware and technical support so you don't have to worry about hardware failure or the rising cost of maintaining an IT staff.
Exigo is virtually limitless in the number of users you may add. Our internal mail servers can handle tens of thousands of simultaneous users, and users can be easily added and maintained through the system's Administrative functions.
Based upon our Exigo Corporate Pricing Plan, you have a range of users your company can add or delete from the system without any change in monthly cost* (i.e.: 30-40 employees). Additional users can be added above the selected Pricing Plan Package at any time with no administrative delays; Exigo will simply switch your company to the next-level pricing plan, which will be reflected on the following month's statement.
*Cost refers to the base monthly fee, but excludes any additional fees that may be imposed due to additional storage or other services.
TECHNICAL QUESTIONS
Not necessarily. All primary IT functions can be outsourced to a 3rd party vendor, while still maintaining a high level of security within the company. Exigo has spent hundreds of thousands of hours putting together an exceptional system that addresses all core IT functions, in addition to incorporating hassle-free administration maintenance and system management.
And with the Exigo system, there is the added benefit of having a web-based system that can be accessed from anywhere in the world, with all the same security and administrative functions as a traditional IT system. We recognize however that larger institutions have core IT systems in place and may opt for an "Enterprise" license. Please contact us to help determine your needs.

An individual who has been granted Administrative access to the Company's Exigo system can add, edit, or delete users, maintain email accounts, and set site restrictions as needed. Also, all administrative changes take effect immediately.
A variety of features can be customized on the Exigo Office system, including: Adding your company's name and logo, changing overall color schemes, and setting individual user accounts and restricting access to specific functions.
Specifically, individual users can customize their personal system including weather, favorite links, stocks, and news stories from over 200 categories, in addition to creating personal mail folders, online document folders, and other file sharing folders. Any customization an individual user establishes is applied only to that account, and is not seen or shared with any other user.
